Cinecraft is a trading name of UAS London Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16148461. Our registered office is 10-16 Tiller Road, London E14 8PX. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.
If you want to talk to us about privacy, email hello@cinecraft.uk or call 020 3039 3931.
Our contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number and what you need. We use it to answer you, quote for the work and, if you book, to run the job. We keep enquiries so we can pick up a conversation you started months ago, which happens often in production.
We hold what we need to do the work and to meet our legal obligations: contact details, billing details, the shoot details, and the paperwork the job produces, such as risk assessments and permit applications. Some of that has to be shared, for example with the Port of London Authority or a harbour authority when we apply for permission on your behalf.
We do not track you. This site runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no third party scripts, and it sets no cookies. Our host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and for keeping the site up. See our cookie policy.
Filming on and around the water means people sometimes appear in footage. Where we are filming for a client, the client is normally the controller of that footage and decides what happens to it. Where the footage is ours, we treat recognisable people in it as personal data, and we will remove someone on request where we reasonably can.
Answering your enquiry and delivering work you have asked for is contract, or steps taken before a contract. Keeping records for tax and insurance is legal obligation. Keeping our own work to show as examples, and keeping the site secure, is legitimate interests, and you can object to either.
Our website host, Hostinger. Our email provider, Apple iCloud. Our accountant, and our insurers if there is a claim. Navigation and aviation authorities where a permit needs it.
We do not sell anyone’s data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the UK’s approved safeguards.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to us using it, or ask us to restrict how we use it. Email hello@cinecraft.uk and we will reply within a month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first, so we can put it right.
If we change this policy we will change the date below.
