Maritime filming in Portsmouth
Portsmouth’s waterfront mixes naval history, ferries to France and the island, Gunwharf Quays and the Spinnaker Tower, the boatyards of Gosport and the sea forts off Southsea. Filming here is all about planning with the harbour from the start.
We bring the camera boat, the skipper, the camera and drone crew, and the permissions. Raw files arrive within 48 hours, or we cut the finished film.
Drones. The naval base has its own restricted zone right by the harbour entrance, with more around other naval sites, so drone work needs careful planning and, near the base, permission.
Need a boat for your own crew instead? See film boat hire here. More on filming for marine businesses.
